Directors' Awards
A special recognition for... Jeffrey Arcega!!! This was Jeff's first official year on the leadership team, and he sure did take on a lot of tasks! From running OlympicFest games to heading up meal mixers and making sure the banquet ran smoothly, Jeff took all of his responsibilities seriously. He maintained a positive attitude through it all, even inspiring many of his fellow leaders to take it to the next level. Great job, Jeff!
Another special recognition for... Kaye San Pedro!!! Kaye was recognized for her strong and consistent dedication to the ministry of Christmas Institute in the Pacific Northwest. Starting out as the youngest camper back in 1999, Kaye has grown into a solid leader. This year, though living far from many of the Design Team meetings, Kaye remained faithful to her team and kept CI a priority in the midst of her hectic and demanding schedule. Now in her third year of leadership, Kaye has shown much maturity in the roles she now plays, as well as a sense of ownership to the many decisions leaders must make when campers seek direction. Thank you, Kaye!
Dean's Award
Ricardo Corsilles was also acknowledged for his presence in the leadership team. Excited this year as his first "official" year on CI Leadership, many have already witnissed his contributions in past years as a support staff and visitor. Also known as Dione, he has remained an encouraging example of a man of strong faith and character, who fully loves and relies on God and isn't afraid to show it. Campers and leaders alike can say that Dione had a positive impact on their CI experience this year. God bless you, Ricardo!
